Directed by Zack Snyder, it is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), following 2013’s Man of Steel. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics characters Batman and Superman. This extended version of the 2016 film includes 30 minutes of additional footage, including an extended cut of the “Knightmare” sequence.
